Brief Introduction of Lumbini
Lumbini lies in 5 no. province of Nepal as a name is “Lumbini Province” in western Nepal. Lumbini is the world heritage site which is declared in 1997 by the world heritage committee. Lumbini’s named after the birthplace of Buddha, our terai region districts of the zone Kapilavastu, Rupandehi, and Nawalparasi are directly associated with life of the Buddha and the Sakya civilization. Buddha was born in 623BC, on the full moon day moth of Vaisakh, Maya devi, the consort of king Suddhodana of Kapilavastu in Lumbini Garden. Lumbini and Devadaha are situated in Rupandehi district, they are the respectively the birthplace and maternal home of the Buddha. Kapilavastu, the capital city of Sakya kingdom now known as Tilaurakot is where Prince Siddhartha spent his first 29 years. In Ramagrama a sacred corporal stupa of the Buddha located in Nawalparasi district now it is becoming a Buddhist circuit, so it is the world most spiritual sites and attracts of the Buddhist pilgrims all over the world.
Overview
Lumbini is situated in Rupandehi district western par of Nepal is about 20 kilometers from Gautam Buddha International airport and 27 kilometer from Indian boarder Sunauli. From Kathmandu there are many flights operating by domestic air companies, and access of tourist bus services from capital bus takes approximately 7/8 hours, now you can take flight from aboard directly at Lumbini International airport few international airlines companies are operating weekly flight to Bhairahawa. Lumbini is a center of pilgrimage after the death of Buddha became important site for Buddhist pilgrimage near and far, witnessing a continuous flow of person who came with faith and devotion, seeking purification of their mind. For many centuries pilgrims have revered the spot at Lumbini garden where the Budddha was born. Today pilgrims and visitors from all over the world come to Lumbini, the timeless place where ancient monuments mark the authenticity of the birthplace. The pilgrims from the earliest time to the present moment are deeply affected by its spiritual atmosphere. The monuments erected by them and the record of noteworthy visits add solemnity to the sacred site. Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival at Gautam Buddha International Airport, Lumbini or bus station at the same time our representative will meet and greet you and assist to transfer your hotel check in to hotel rest evening dinner, overnight at Lumbini.
Day 2
Early in the morning go to Maya Devi Temple to see morning puja and back to hotel have your breakfast, then whole day you explore birth place of Lord Buddha around Lumbini, do some mediation, visit monasteries and evening participate on especial function around in Temple, and back to hotel have your dinner overnight at Lumbini.
Day 3
After breakfast we transfer to International Airport or bus park according to your schedule for your next trip.
